Youth Behavioral Health 101

This 2-hour long training will provide a high-level overview of Behavioral Health in Children & Adolescents. Topics discussed include childhood development, risk & protective factors, special population considerations, and an overview of common childhood diagnoses such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder & Attachment Disorders. This training is intended for healthcare professionals who are not already knowledgeable and/or experienced in child behavioral healthcare. Experienced child behavioral health providers are welcome to attend as a content refresher. No CE Credit or certification is associated with this training.
Grief & Loss: Considerations for Mental Health Professionals
Thursday, October 24th at 3pm EST
Grief and loss are difficult human experiences that will often lead individuals to seek support via mental health care. This 2 hour training will explore various types of grief and loss, grief-related diagnoses in the DSM-5, theories and myths, grief-targeted therapy interventions, and ways that professionals can mitigate their own risk while working with grieving clients. There is no CE credit or certification associated with this training.
Cultural Competency in Behavioral Healthcare

This 1-hour webinar will explore the importance of cultural competence and cultural humility in behavioral healthcare. Topics to be discussed include the ways in which culture affects behavioral health, how providers and healthcare staff can increase recognition of their own implicit biases, and the use of culturally relevant and responsive evidence-based practices with patients / members.
