Designed for Alaskans
Carelon Behavioral Health understands Alaska’s unique needs. As industry leaders in crisis care, substance use disorders (SUDs), and public policy, we are poised to deliver life-saving services to the most vulnerable — when and where they are needed most.
No matter the challenge, we’ll be a partner to the people of Alaska.

Empowering Alaskans to achieve recovery
Substance use disorders (SUDs) can affect anyone. Many go untreated due to stigma or difficulty finding help. Our empathetic and compassionate approach integrates mental health, physical health, and pharmacy to ensure Alaskans struggling with SUD have the best chance at recovery.
Backed by nationwide expertise in cost and quality challenges, our solutions deliver better outcomes for members and reduce the total cost of care.

Helping youth thrive
Today’s young people have more opportunities than ever — and more challenges. Our models can enhance the range of existing community services available for Alaska youth. We offer a trauma-informed, resilience-focused system of care that:
- Ensures caregivers and youth have speedy access to resources, support, and services.
- Empowers families to take an active role in the health and wellness of their own lives.
- Educates youth and families about suicide prevention and delivers services that reduce suicidal ideation.
With the help of our clinicians and partners, we’ve achieved positive outcomes for youth and families across the country.
